What Are MiSight Lenses?
MiSight is a daily disposable soft contact lens designed for myopia control in children.
In addition to correcting distance vision, its optical design is intended to help manage myopia progression.
- Soft lens
- Lens optical design
- Central focus zone
The Goal
The goal is to help slow myopia progression while providing clear vision during the day. It doesn't eliminate existing myopia.
How Are They Used?
They're inserted in the morning, worn during the day and discarded at night. Children and their families learn how to insert and remove them during the fitting.
Who May They Be Considered For?
They may be considered for some children with myopia. Specific indications are reviewed during an exam on a case-by-case basis.
Why the Evaluation Matters
Before MiSight is recommended, the child's vision, eye health and ability to wear and care for lenses are evaluated.
